On the way back from Stirling yesterday, I stopped to pick up Ms GadgetVicar from the Woodcraft Folk weekend at Auchengillan. GadgetVicar Girl No. 2 will return today. The fifty kids on the camp were high as kites and obviously having a ball. I gave thanks to the Lord for those who work with children, and that I am not called to do so!
It's a busy day today, but it should be fun.
Preaching @ St Ninian's, Prestwick. Johnny McClue is with me in support (whose last post on his blog was four months ago - go Johnny!). St Ninian's is a special church to me. A quarter of a century ago, I discovered a community of wonderful godly people there, who gave me hope for the church as an institution that God could use to bless the world. They also got me thinking about church ministry and me going together.
Lunch with my parents, Irvine.
Meetings @ St Silas'.
Preaching @ Evening Service @ St Silas'.
Rex Allchurch Band @ St Silas'.
Porcupine Tree @ The Carling Academy (I fully expect to be deaf this week, as both these bands are LOUD).
